First time seeing Santa

We went to Bryan's kid work Christmas party last week. It was a blast...they had chicken fingers, mac and cheese, french fries you name they had it. Plus all the sugary stuff you could think of too. So we headed down to the Venetian to see Santa because it was free and no lines. Dax did very well...he kind of just looked at Santa like who are you. After seeing Santa we road the train i think that was Dax's favorite part every time the train would "choo-choo" he would get excited.

It's time to Party!!

This year Bryan and I decided to throw a Christmas Party. It was lots of fun and we also had lots of people. We had so much food we didn't know what to do. We had homemade stew, chili, cornbread, salsa salad, two bean dips, Bryan's ribbon jello, and chips and salsa. For dessert monkey bread, funnel cakes and hot apple cider.

Brian and his Christmas sweater that he found at Savers. We also decorated sugar cookies with the kids.

We played a game called Singing Bee with Christmas music. You have to sing along with the music and then we paused the music and you had to finish singing the the next verse. This is Joey singing the next verse right.

Santa came....Santa Jackson

Life is Ruff!

The past couple of mornings Dax would wear himself out playing and fall asleep on the floor...or fall asleep once i give him his bottle. What a ruff life.

Thanksgiving

We had an eventful Thanksgiving week...Bryan couldn't get the time off from work to attend the Bishop Thanksgiving in St. George. So we had Thanksgiving with my family on Thursday and he found someone at work to switch with so we headed up to St. George on Friday to do some shopping and hang out with the fam.

While we were there Bryan's brother found a cool looking park so we took some family pictures for our Christmas cards.

A Celebrity!

My parents and I decided to go grocery shopping this last Friday so we could avoid the Thanksgiving rush at the grocery stores. We decided to stop and get some dinner at this pizza place (Mark Rich's...very good by the way). We were sitting there and one of the workers came over to show Daxton his pizza puppet. Come to find out it was the owner of the pizza place. They couldn't get enough of him. Mark took Dax behind the counter and showed him all the equipment, dough and toppings.

So here is our little celebrity (or future pizza maker) with Mark and Rich...they also want me to send them a copy of this picture so they can put it on their wall in their restaurant.

Aviation Nation 2007

This last Saturday we went to Aviation Nation ( Air Show). It was a lot of fun...Bryan and I have been going for about 4 years now. It is usually nice weather and it is free...this year was Daxton's first year and he did really well. I wasn't sure how he would handle the loud noise.

All of us in front of Bryan's favorite jet

Dax just chillin in the stroller.

New Shoes

At Dax's baby shower i received a lot of baby shoes...but since summer was just around the corner he didn't wear a lot of them. Now that it is getting cooler of course he doesn't fit any of them. So we have been looking for some new shoes to keep his toes warm. We found these Vans shoes at the Vans outlet downtown (I love the little foot on the bottom) and the Champion ones at Payless.

I really want to get these Converse All Star shoes for him to. ( http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=6395&pid=512447)
