Art in the Park 2011/ Date night w/ Bryan & Dax

Had such a blast with my sister, mom & dad at Art in the Park this year. I didn't find much, but it was lots of to just hang out. After we went to Famous Dave's to eat lunch and then to my favorite place Hobby Lobby!

Later that night Bryan, Dax and I went on a date. We started off at Rainforest Cafe. Which Dax had a blast! Then Bryan's friend hooked us up with some Lion King tickets at Mandalay Bay. Dax was eyes were glued to the stage. I had to keep reminding him to whisper. He was so cute, shortly half way threw Dax climbed on my lap and fell asleep. It was 3 hours long.

I know - I know i am a SLACKER!!! So here is a picture overload of what we have been up too. We FINALLY got dax's playhouse put up...almost a year later. Pretty much that is all we have be doing. With the nice weather they just love to play in it.

1st Time to Disneyland & Anaheim Angels Stadium

Over Halloween weekend~ last minute we decided to go to Disneyland with some of Bryans family. We were supposed to go later in November with my family, but Bryan got a second job and his training starts on the day we are supposed to go. I really wanted Bryan to be there for Dax & Cannon's 1st time. So we packed up and went. Dax had so much fun seeing all the characters and riding all the big roller coasters with his older cousins. Cannon just loved seeing Mickey! On Tuesday we went to the Anaheim Angels Stadium to do a tour of it. It was lots of fun seeing all the different places in the stadium. The best part was that it only cost 3 dollars for an adult to do it. We will probably do it again.

Halloween 2010

Well another Halloween has come and gone. I feel like we just started the month of October~ it went by that fast. We started the month off with cousin Jackson's 3 birthday party, then we went to the Spring Preserve for the Haunted Harvest, then trick or treating at the Venetian and 2 ward trunk or treats. Also at the last minute we decided to go to Disneyland. So our month of October was very busy!!

Soccer 2010

We decided to put Dax in soccer this fall. At first he didn't want anything to do with it. His first game he just wanted to sit by me and cannon on the side line. Now he loves it~ he wants to play all the time and he is turning out to be a pretty good little soccer player. Every time he scores he runs over and has to tell me. I love this picture below. All three of them are on the same team.

CAMPING!!!

Between camping on the beach in San Diego and 2-3 times in Mt. Charleston we had our fare share of camping. But when it is 120 out in LV the best place to be is camping! When ever Dax looks at a mountain he asks when are we going camping again. Dax's favorite things to do camping are

~find pine cones

~dig in the dirt

~put wood in the fire

~sleep in his Toy Story sleeping bag

~and play with his cousins or friends

things i hate about camping...

~ all the clothes i have to pack and

~all the clothes and bedding i have to wash and put away

But all and all it is fun and a cheap thing to do in the summer and fun to be with family and friends!

I lost count of how many times i had to wipe Dax down with wet wipes because he kept doing this.

Cannon didn't like it so much being in the pack and play. But he was not a walker yet and with our experience on the beach with the sand, i decided he should be in here.

I know i am way behind on posting. Every time i sit down to post i am either tired or just tired. Cannon turned 1 in July. The kid loves any kind of ball (Soccer, Basketball, football you name it), so we decided to have a sport theme birthday party. Of course we had it at Grammie and Papa's so we could swim. I can not believe my Can Can is one! Where does the time go! You always think that about your first child, but really the more kids you have the faster it flies by. I love this little boy so much! Every morning when i get him out of his crib i am greeted with a smile and he always points to his soccer ball bank and says ball!

I know i am so behind on pictures. The last week in June we started our trip in Old Town San Diego and went to the Mormon Battalion, it was lots of fun and also interesting to learn about some history. They have a lot of hands on things to do. The next two days we went to Sea World. Dax had so much fun at Sea World he loved seeing all the animals. Then we headed down to San Elijo State Beach where we camped for four nights and played on the beach during the day. I wish we were back there already. The weather never went above 70.

Look very close...yes he has a sand beard. The kid ate about 30 fist fulls of sand in one day. At first i tried to stop him, but i just let him have fun. His diapers on the other hand were a bit different.

We went out to Primm to ride the rides for FREE. If you are a resident in the month of June you could ride all the rides for free. So we went..

We went and saw Toy Story 3 opening day! Dax loved the movie. Afterwards he told me "mom that was a great show". I think we will be seeing it again before it comes out on dvd.

Well i think we have a new tradition. On Memorial Day weekend all of my boys including Bryan get the Summer Haircut (shaved). This happens to be Cannon's 1st haircut. He is a blondie now! It is so funny how each kid is different. Dax had his 1st haircut at 4 months and Cannon at almost 11 months. Hopefully his hair will come back in and not so fine.

Camping at Valley of Fire

We invited ourselves at the last minute to go camping with Bryan's brother and his family. My nephew Drake decided that we should camp at Valley of Fire... instead of Mt. Charleston. He was my favorite nephew at some times and not so much at other times (i liked him at night because it wasn't that cold, but during the day it was HOT). All in all we had a blast! All Dax can talk about is camping. So he is really excited for when we going camping on the beach this month. Thank goodness these boys feel asleep on the way there.

I can't believe how old Cannon is getting. In July he will be a year.

This is how we roll. If we have another kid we will not be able to sleep in the truck anymore. Which i love because we are up off the ground. Bryan and I sleep in the bed of the truck and cannon sleeps in the 2nd seat and Dax sleeps in the front seat on a air mattress.

My mother and father in law found this bike trailer for the kids at a garage sale and got it for FREE. Bryan and his dad put together these motor bikes. Dax LOVES to ride with him, when they came back Dax said "mom we go FAST".

We decided to try this Chicago Pizza place by our house. It is called Rosati's... let's just say DELICIOUS!!!

A week ago we went to my dads company picnic at Sunset Park. Dax and Bryan didn't get to stay to long. That evening they went with our ward to Armagosa Valley for the Father and Sons camp out. Cannon and I stayed at the park for all the festivities. They had yummy food, jumpy houses, clowns and live music. This is my nephew Treyson part of the clown act.

This is the best picture i could get of Dax in his new suit. We made him wear it last Sunday before the weather gets to hot.

Tonight Cannon hit his head on the kitchen table and started to cry. I thought nothing of it until i saw his forehead. He has a nice goose egg on his forehead the size of a quarter. I am not ready for these kind of things with two boys. If they are anything like my husband we will be visiting the Quick Care a lot!

Cannon has been army crawling everywhere. This past week he has mastered the real crawl, but he also thought he would make up for lost time and decided to start pulling himself up. Right now there are only a couple of places he does it... his crib (now we need to lower it again), the bathtub and at my mothers couch.

This kid was getting to heavy to carry in the infant car seat and he was also to big for it. Well i guess i can't call him a baby anymore... he is in a big car seat!

So Dax got a new car seat which he loves because he has more movement. I decided to get a car seat that goes up by the head because my kids like to fall asleep in the car every time we get into it.

Mary Jane Falls Hike

Ok- so these pictures are way out of order, but we went to Mary Jane Falls probably over a month ago for a hike. It was lots of fun. Dax had a blast...he walk a lot of it. On the way down right before you get to the parking lot on level ground i decide to trip and fall. My new capri's took the most of the beating along with my knee, but at least Cannons head didn't hit the ground. He came really close, but i saved him and he stayed asleep in the snugly on my chest.

now that i look at this picture it doesn't look half as bad as it did in person.

At the top of Mary Jane Falls there were lots of snow still. You also had to be careful where you sat at the top because the sun was melting the ice and snow and from time to time it would fall to the bottom where you sat at the end of the hike.

1st Cleaning and New Flowers

So i decided the other day that i haven't done any pictures of Cannon since he was 4 months. Now he is 9 going on 10 months. Where has the time gone. We just bought some new flowers for our front door...so i decided to take pixs of them. So here is Cannon's 9 month pixs! He sits up on his own, he talks up a storm, army crawls, loves real food (doesn't want anything to do with the baby mush) and just makes us smile all the time. I love him so much.

Dax also wanted to be part of the fun.

Dax had his first teeth cleaning. He did so well ( I think it helped that it was Aunt Dea) a little nervous at first, but he laid there and let her polish, do a fluoride treatment and even let her scrap some plaque off of his teeth. His favorite part was sucking the water out of his mouth. I am so proud of him.

Easter was a lot of fun this year. Dax finally understands how to do the Easter egg hunts. Cannon just loved playing with Easter basket wrappings. We went to both sides of the family and ate so much we couldn't see straight. This next picture is a lemon blueberry cake i made.

Cowboy Birthday

Wow!! I can not believe that my boy is 3 years old. He could not sleep all night. All through the night he would wake up and ask if the sun was up yet. We started the day off with breakfast scones. Then we headed over to the park to decorate for his party, but the weather had other things in mind...like wind-lots of wind. About 45 minutes before the party started we decided to move it to our house. So for the next 45 minutes i hurried and cleaned up the down stairs...including about 8 box's and bag's of canned food for a food drive. Once the party started Dax had a blast with all of his friends and that is what matters.

Elephant Shoes

My father in law works with a guy at the temple that use to work for Nike. Well to make a long story short... Nike was asked to make these shoes for an elephant that had feet problems. My father in law has been using this story in his talks... so the nice guy let him borrow them to use as a visual. We found the new bumbo for infants...its called a Nike Elephant Shoe.

We also received GREAT NEWS today! Dr. Ky (Cannon's Doctor) called today and told us that his CT scans came back normal. So he will be fine! There is no extra fluid on his brain and the bone structure is growing in the right direction. Thanks to all of you for keeping us in your prayers we do appreciate it!

Hospital Stay and other pixs

Well, we have been up to a lot of things lately, good and bad. Cannon had his 6 month check up, and the doctor informs me that he is concerned with his head. On each side of his head it goes out to a point. That is an indication of extra fluid on the brain. We had to make a decision to have a MRI or a CT. MRI only shows the fluid and the CT shows the fluid and bone structure, but the CT exposes him to some radiation which could cause cancer later on in his life. My sister and brother in law talked to some family friends that are doctors for their opinion. They told us that the CT scan these days are a lot better than they used to be. We have decided to go with the CT on March 2nd. Later that evening my mom, the boys and I, were going to look for a Valentine gift for Bryan at the Meadows Mall. We decided to go eat at Macayo's before we went to the mall. We were pulling out of the the shopping center to make a left hand turn, and a lady ran the red light and hit my moms car. Everyone is fine... just soreness and a couple of bruises. On the 16th of Feb. we had to go to the Summerlin Hospital Pediatric ER because Cannon wasn't eating or drinking which resulted into dry diapers. We had gone to the doctors on the 15th and he prescribed and antibiotic and breathing treatments because his cough sounded like a bark... it was so bad you could hear him breathing without putting your ear to his chest. Well on the 16th the doctor said go to the ER for dehydration. After 4-5 hours in the ER and an IV he was admitted to the hospital for RSV, Bronchiolitis, Hypoxia and his oxygen level kept going below 92%. Each day a doctor from our pediatrician office would come in at 9 am and check him out to see if he could go home. Day after day the answer was "you have to stay here another day". Finally after 5 days on Sunday the 21st he was breathing on his own for a whole 24 hours, and they couldn't hear any whizzing in his chest so we were able to come home. On Monday Cannon started to throw up and the doctor informed us that he probably caught a stomach bug from the hospital.

Some fun things... we went to Tule Springs with Bryans parents and had a picnic. The weather was so beautiful! Grandma rubbing Dax's belly with lotion... it is one of their favorite things to do.

Dax also loves it when people read to him especially Grandma.

This is what we have been doing for the past 3 months. i cant believe all of the holidays are over. For Halloween i decided to dust off my old cooking school uniform and be chef for Halloween.

Pumpkin Patch and Horse Riding

This year we went up to St .George for their pumpkin patch. Dax had so much fun running from pumpkin to pumpkin and to all of the toys.

Dax was in heaven! He loves horses so much he wants to have a cowboy birthday.

I feel like we have been super busy! First we had Cannon's Blessing on Sept 13th. Bryan did such an awesome job! Even though he displayed Cannon like Simba from the Lion King after the blessing (it was really funny). I am so grateful that my husband holds the priesthood. We would also like to thank everyone that came. We feel so loved on how many people came and supported us on that day. Second i went to Tuacahn with some girls from my ward. We had a blast talking on the way up and back, eating Pizza Factory and watching Footloose. Third Cannons first movie. Cannon did so well in the movie he ate his bottle and watched the movie at the same time. Never made a peep.

This past weekend me, my sister Andrea, Lindsey and Nikki had a girls night out. It was a blast... we went to Town Square and ate at Cadillac Ranch (Yumo), did some shopping and then saw The Travelers Wife (cried my eyes out.. super good). Our waitress was super nice and gave us some free tickets to ride the bull. Can't wait until our next night out!

Three weeks before i had Cannon a bunch of my friends and family members had babies. Some of them we have not been able to take pictures with yet. But here are some. There are like 5 more babies that were born at the same time. So fun!

Since we were going to be in the hospital having Cannon on Bryan's birthday we celebrated it early. Bryan wanted to eat Verrizano's Pizza and let the kids run around at the water park.

The week before i had Cannon we were invited out to Pirate's Cove in Boulder City to go swimming. We went last year and only looked around because Bryan had to work, but this year we made sure we brought our swim suit. Yes this is my husband jumping off the eagle nest ( i think that is what they are called).

Cannon Clark Bishop was born July 13th at 1:05 pm. He weighed 7 lbs 10 oz 19 in.

It is so much fun having another child. All Dax can say is hi baby cannon. We came home yesterday and it was the first time Dax had seen him with out his hat on and Dax said mommy baby cannon put his hair on. I just love all the little things that Dax is noticing. Cannon is a very good baby... sleeps, poops and eats.

We had a very fun filled 4th of July this year. My husband and his best friend put on a firework show ever year...and each year it gets bigger and bigger the past two years my brother brings his DJ stuff so we can hear the music that the fireworks go to. Dax and I started the day off at my mothers house swimming with cousins and eating some yummy Mexican food. Then we headed over to Uncle Brian and Michelle house for a BBQ swim party before the fireworks. This is a picture of us after church today... didn't even realize that we were all patriotic.

FHE/Drive In

What we have been up to besides getting ready for Cannon to come. It was our turn to host FHE at our house for the month of June. We had Olive Garden theme for dinner. I think it turned out better then Olive Garden food. We had the tour of Italy....lasagna, chicken parm, fettuccine Alfredo, salad, and bread sticks. For dessert i made their Black Tie Cheesecake and we also had Italian Ice. Yum Yum in my tummy!

We went to the drive in with Bryan's brother and family a couple of weeks ago to watch UP. It was a blast the weather was nice and we put our chairs in the back of our trucks and closed the tailgate to keep the kids in. It worked out great and Dax sat threw the whole movie.

Last Saturday we went to the Las Vegas Zoo in the morning with Andrea, Joey, Nikki, Aaron, Chloe, and Jackson. The kids had a blast seeing all of the animals up close. The only animal we didn't see up close was the lion they were back in the shade. But we heard every hour or so they give the lions a big piece of meat at the front of their cage so that everyone can see them. Maybe next time. But we got to see the monkeys, different birds, goats, alligators, and otters. After the Zoo we went back to my sisters and had a BBQ and swam. Lots of fun!!!

Cinco De Mayo Celebration

We thought since it was Cinco De Mayo this week we would cook some carna asada and have a party. Bryan's best friend Tom was in town with his family also... so i guess we should call it Cinco De Mayo/Friend BBQ celebration. I don't know if it is just because i am prego, but the food was delicious!! We had carna asada, guacamole, salsa, creamy tomitillo dressing, homemade tortillas (from Costco you cook them yourselves) and other toppings. It is fun to always catch up with old friends. Then after dessert we played some Wii Sports to work off all the food we ate. Lots of fun!!

Sorry that the pictures are out of order i can't figure out how to move my pictures around on my new computer. We had a fun Easter...i don't think i have ever colored easter eggs with Dax. I just let him play until it was time to put the stickers on. Then on Easter we went to church and then over to my sister Heathers for Easter dinner. All the food tasted delicious!!!

I know this is like 2 weeks late but being prego and something to plan every week keeps ya busy. Well i can not believe that my son is 2 years old it seems like it flew by. Dax had a very busy and fun 2nd birthday. On his birthday he had a birthday donut for breakfast then it was off to Brian and Michelle's wedding. The kids at the wedding got chicken nuggets and tater tots and then off for some dancing. He had so much sugar and fun we could not get him to fall asleep until midnight. Dax also met his new friend that shares a love for Kung Fu Panda...Hudson. This is Dax in his new suit...doesn't he just look handsome!
This is Bryan, Dax, Hudson and Steve. Bryan and Steve grew up together and now they have sons the same age (Dax and Hudson are like 2 weeks apart). This is also the other kid that loves Kung Fu Panda like Dax.
Thanks to Hudson the kids had there candy and toys to keep them busy.
Steve, Bryan, Austin, Brian and Tom. It was fun to hang out with all of them again.This is Dax and Hudson dancing. It was so funny even if there was no one on the dance floor they were out there just dancing by themselves.

Then the next day we had Daxs birthday party. It was a Kung Fu Panda theme...let me just tell you it was so hard to find Kung Fu Panda stuff no stores carried it. The day was perfect nice and sunny and lots of playing.

Why do they grow up so fast?

I can not believe that in less than a month my son will be 2...where did the time go? It doesn't feel like i just had him, but 2 years. And then in 5 months i will start all over again. I guess it is good that Daxton is so big and can do things himself. Hopefully it will help out when the new baby comes in July.

I also can't believe how much he is talking...if he doesn't know how to say it or doesn't know what it is- he says "what is it". I love every minute of every day with him. I just need to take in everything with him right now before the new addition comes. How do you give the right amount of attention to two kids at the same time? I guess it will be something i learn as it comes.

That's right we are expecting and it is another Boy!!! We are so excited! We went to the Ultrasound today and Dax called the jelly they put on your belly...Lotion. Dax also said mommy look and he pointed to the screen and said baby! It is so cute to see him kind of getting the idea that he is going to have a baby brother.

Let me just tell ya these Bishop Boys are not afraid to let you know what they are.

I love Halloween so much that i put up my decorations in September so i could use them longer. Bryan said i could only put up my inside decor in September but once October came i had all my outside decor up. I am not the only person that loves this holiday so much...my husband has already planned how he is going to scare the trick or treaters. Usually he just does a ghost in front of the door but this year it has moved to the back yard (a little haunted house). So if any of you want to come by on Halloween your more than welcome.

Busy Summer

This summer has been busy especially August.

In July it was Bryan's and my birthday. We had a swim birthday party at my mom and dads.

In August we went up to Mt. Charleston for a picnic with our friends.

I forget how pretty Mt. Charleston is and it's so close.

Dax and his girlfriend Reese, yes they're holding hands. A couple weeks later we decided to camp in Mt. Charleston with some friends

Then off to Dana Point, California, for camping on the beach. We rented a cruise america RV with Bryan's sister and brother in law to drive down there. I was afraid of Dax and the ocean (it being his first time) but he did really well. When Bryan or I walked down to the water he would come, but other than that he would sit and play in the sand for hours. Lets just say he is not afraid of the water...he thought it was fun to let the wave pull him back into the ocean. It was lots of fun! Lukas, Deven and Dax
Then for our final camping trip of the summer we headed to Tushar Lakeside in Beaver Utah. We went so Bryan and I could spend some time with our Nephew before he entered the MTC.

Nursery

On the 14th of this month Dax will start nursery. I can not believe that my baby is almost 18 months. Every time i look at him he is just this little boy that wants to climb, play in the dirt and do everything to get messy.

Bryan and I were called to Nursery leaders, so Dax has been in nursery for a little over two months. But starting on the 14th he goes to a different nursery class with Godfather Parley (We just call him that). We will see how he does.

Here is an update on the Bishop family the past couple of weeks. I am glad that 4th of July/Dimaya is over and done for this year. People that know about this event knows that my husband gets totally involved where i don't see him that whole week before. We had a blast, Dax did very well with the fireworks this year...even though he was an hour and half past his bed time.
My brother Caleb the DJ. Bryan had him mix the music together this year...he also brought his speakers so we could hear the music with the fireworks. Thanks!

We finally found a nice used one at the Childrens Orchard for only 100.00 they usually go for 300 to 500. We also saw this hiking backpack there.

Here’s my Tag

1. Jobs I've had: Ok so lets see if i can remember all of these. My first job was a lifeguard for the City of Las Vegas in the summers while i was in high school then i worked at United Title after high school then the Girl Scouts for a couple of years then got an itch and moved to Cedar City and go to SUU but only lasted a month in the snow and worked at Southern Utah Title. Moved back to Vegas and the lovely Girl Scouts took me back...got married needed more money for bills and worked at Nevada Title for a couple of years and quit before i had Dax.

2. All the places I have lived: Las Vegas and Cedar City, UT...what a boring life i know. But if we had to move I would want to move to Seattle or Vancouver Canada. Went there on a high school trip and loved it.

3. 4 favorite movies: Pretty much any chick flick even if it is cheesy. Steel Magnolias, Beaches, Friday and Now and then.

4. 4 favorite foods: Anything to do with Mexican i am there. Cafe Rio here i come. I also like salads, Hawaiian food and Chinese.

5. 4 weird things about me: I love to twist my hair, i usually twist when i am tired or bored. It is so relaxing to me. I use to twist my hair so much on the right side when i was little...that i barely had any hair left on the that side. I also love to entertain but hate to clean my house knowing that i will have to clean it again later. So i am usually up late cleaning again. Another is when i see something i want i am impatient and want to buy it then. My husband on the other hand will make me wait and go look at it 3 or 4 times before we buy anything.

6. 4 favorite shows: Grey's Anatomy, Biggest Loser, Hells Kitchen and the Hills

7. Places I'd love to go: Hawaii, for some weird reason i have always wanted to go to Maine, Paris and Argentina where my husband went on his mission.

A week ago we went to a cabin in Ponderosa/Zion National Park. We had such a blast, Dax especially with all of his cousins. I knew that sometime that weekend he was going to be walking and he did. He wanted to get up and run with his cousins. Also while we were up there we decided to do family pictures since everyone was there. Here are some of the pictures.

I know this is so late to do this post. I would have done it sooner but i have not been able to transfer any pictures from my camera to my computer. Thanks to my brother he took these pictures. I officially have a toddler...even though he wasn't walking at a year. We had a prince party at the park and invited all of our family and some friends. We had BBQ pork sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw and mac and cheese. I will put more pictures up soon.

4 Years!!

Wow...i can't believe that it has been 4 years! I was looking at pictures of our wedding today and dang we look young. It took me back to our day and how wonderful it was...even though it poured the night before and rained the morning of. When we came out of the temple it had stopped raining and long enough to take pictures. The sky was perfect all grey and cloudy for the pictures.

I just want my husband to know that i am the luckiest girl alive...to have him as my husband. He is so kind, gentle, caring, creative (4th of Dimaya and many other things... cardboarder), frugal, helpful, the best dad, considerate, honest, my best friend and many more things. I love him so much!

Trip to Ogden

Quincy St (This street is right by my mother in laws house in Ogden where she grew up)

We went to Ogden, UT this past week for Bryan's grandma's funeral. The service was so beautiful and not a dry eye in the chapel. It was snowing all day long and the high for the day was 24 degree's. That is cold for us Vegas people. I was so excited to go up to the snow with my new camera i got for Christmas. I love taking pictures of the trees in the snow. When Dax figured out crawling we would just put everything that was on the floor up. Well now that he can stand up and walk a little...how much higher can we put stuff up so he wont get into anything?

Again life has been super busy! Bryan started his new job (well same place) as a bellmen. He loves not running and getting a car. Dax has had his 3rd hair cut and also loves getting into things he is not supposed to. He has learned how to stand up, put everything in his mouth that he finds and in the past week has taken 4-5 steps with his walker. We also had to make a quick trip to Ogden, UT for Bryan's grandma's funeral. That's our life in a nutshell.

We went to Parowan for Reagan Askeroths blessing. It was a blast being able to hang out with all of Bryan's old friends. It has been over a year since Bryan, Tom, Austin and Brian have been together in the same place. It was like little boys in a candy store.

The day after Christmas Bryan and I got together with our friends for breakfast. Plus i was excited to try Dax's new highchair out. I really do love this highchair for going out. He loves to be there right at the table.

9 months...Crawling and 1st Stomach Bug

On Daxton's 9 month mark he decided to crawl. He totally skipped the rocking back and forth and falling on his stomach... he just took off!! I am in trouble now...he is such a FAST crawler...if he is quiet i know he has crawled somewhere and found something on the floor. I guess it is not a bad thing i have to keep my house clean more often.

Also just a few days after he started crawling he was the first in our family to get the stomach bug...lets just say it is not fun having your child throw up all over you in the middle of the night. Since he was sick and his crib sheets need to be washed in the middle of the night we put him in his take along crib in our room. I used to be able to put Dax in his crib and he would put him self to sleep but since he was sick now the only way i can get him to fall asleep is to rock him and every night it takes a good 20 minutes for him to fall asleep. If i lay him in his crib awake he starts to scream bloody murder.

Any advise on how to retrain him to put him self to sleep again???

Christmas 2007

We had an eventful Christmas...Bryan had to work on Christmas eve so Dax and I went to my parents house and had pizza (we usually have pizza by candle light) but this year we just had pizza. Papa (my dad) also read Daxton and Jackson a Christmas story.
On Christmas day we opened our gifts at our house and then headed over to Grammy and Papa's for breakfast, exchange gifts and hang out. Later that evening we went to Bryan's brothers house for dinner and also exchanged gifts. We had a very busy Christmas but we loved every minute of it. Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful gifts.
